The process goes like this....
bake something, pretty light hits it, grab the camera, snap a few photos, edit, and blog it
When you leave for work when it's dark and get home from work as it's getting dark, the chances of pretty light hitting your homemade cookies are slim.
So, friends, I have nothing new. But, here are a few of my favorite photos to keep you coming back.
The first two were from my Food Photography class.
'Cause every blogger should know how to take pictures of food. It helps that a professional chef prepared the food!
Ahh. What I wouldn't give for a warm summer day.
And one more... just because I love taking pictures of "stuff" around my house.
(Side story: When I was sewing with my daughter's class, I brought my computer. I needed to know which child made which quilt block and I had all of the pictures on my computer. One of the boys asked if he could look at my pictures. I told him they were pretty boring, but he was welcome to look. The next few questions out of his mouth made me giggle. "Um, why do you take pictures of soup? Why are there so many of those donut pictures? Fabric... Really? Don't you ever take pictures of people?" I had a hard time explaining the purpose of my blog.)

Here's to finding some inspiration!

I had wondered where you had gone :o)Its been cloudy here too.... I know what you mean about the photos...

I can really relate to not having any good light for food pictures! My posts can wane in the winter because of that, too. :( The food pics you put up look really delicious, though!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear more from you again! :)
Blessings,
Leslie
